Last time we learned about software engineer Alex Ticer’s terrifying health crisis and the healing he received. This set him on a quest to dedicate his life to serving God, but how? He had no idea what he was supposed to do. So, he quit his job and intensified his study of the Bible and praying. After discovering Jesus’s identity as the human Messiah (not a Godman), he embarked on a journey to find others with like precious faith. His odyssey took him to three states, seeking fellowship. Finally, at the Converge Festival of 2025, he and his wife Becky came to perceive God’s direction for them to start a church right where they lived in Round Rock, Texas. This is the story of how One God Church came about.
