Where does life come from? Eric Metaxas opens with some comedic remarks (keep in mind he has a classic NY sense of humor) and then engages Dr. James Tour in conversation about his work in nanotechnology before delving into the issue of abiogenesis. Tour has taken it upon himself to expose the exaggerated “progress” that origin-of-life scientists claim. For those looking for an easy to understand explanation for how difficult it would be for a prebiotic world to self-generate life, this talk should be helpful. You can access Tour’s other talks on his YouTube channel.
Excellent interview. I am sure that there are other areas of “expertise” that need a complete overhaul in science. The same holds true in theology. At about the 1-hour mark he gives the biggest part of the solution, which is to reach the younger generation that has not already invested a life-long career commitment and cannot go back.
