Over the last few weeks, Pastor Jake has walked us through what a worldview is, how postmodernism is different from modernism, how postmodernism is affecting our world today, and how to engage in cross-cultural conversations with postmodern-minded people. This has been an enlightening series of conversations and directly relates to recent events in 2020 (BLM, anti-maskers) and 2021 (attack on Capitol, Deplatforming Parler) where community narratives take precedence over objective facts. How can we discern what’s really going on and how can we engage in a Christian manner–especially with those who come from the opposite point of view?
