Check out David Helm’s four-part, free, video course on reading the bible one to one here. The idea is a simple one. Find someone that you think might be interested and say to them, “Would you have any interest in reading the bible with me for a few weeks?” If they agree, then set a time and place to meet with them. Read through a chapter or less together and ask open-ended discovery questions like these. I’m excited to try this out. It’s almost embarrassing to me that I’ve never thought of doing evangelism this way before. I’ve just ordered his book and I’m looking forward to doing this with someone in the near future.
